  • Debbie Owen was born and raised in Detroit  She sang professionally in the Michigan area for many years. Debbie’s musical influence was always that of Barbara Streisand. Debbie attended Fava Music and was trained by vocal instructor Phil Holloway.
  • Debbie has sung the national anthem for the Detroit Pistons, and other large events in the metro area.  She was the opening act for comedian Dave Coulier known for his role as Joey in the TV series, “Full House.”  She has recorded radio jingles, hosted a cable show, and did back up vocals for many artists in Michigan.
  • In the early 80’s, Debbie formed her own band working with Dennis Coffey, a well known Motown studio musician, who has recorded with the Temptations and other Motown artists.  Mr. Coffey also produced her first country single “Where Did We Go Wrong” and “Break It To Me Gently.”  Debbie’s band “Allure” was recognized for doing the best of Standards, Light Jazz, Oldies, Motown, R&B, Country, and Top 40 Dance.  One of her most memorable experiences was the time she was performing with her band at a hotel in Michigan and Stevie Wonder walked in. He enjoyed their sound and joined them on stage performing some of his popular songs.
  • Debbie and her band Allure recorded a remake of Dancing In the Streets originally done by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. However, Debbie’s version began with the theme song from “Peter Gunn.” It was played throughout the Midwest area.
  • Debbie was later introduced to George Butler, executive producer for Harry Connick Jr., Nancy Wilson, Tony Bennett to name a few.  At that time, he was head of the Jazz dept. for CBS. He was very interested in producing Debbie, but had to finish with other projects he was involved with. Unfortunately, CBS was changed to Sony music and Dr. Butler became head of the international Jazz Dept. keeping him constantly out of the country not long after he retired.
  • Debbie continued to perform with her band “Allure” and in the early 90’s sold the rights to the name “Allure” to Sony Music for a R&B recording group.
  • In 2009, Debbie moved from Michigan to Florida and continues to entertain audiences throughout Central Florida.
  • Debbie has joined forces with the talented Tony T. performing songs from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s as “Debbie Owen & Tony T."

  • Tony Traviglia hails from Buffalo, NY. There Tony started up a four piece rock and roll band and played at a local night club called "The Casa Savoy". Later on Tony moved to Palm Coast, Florida and started singing with a Doo Wop Band called "The Knights of Doo Wop", performing at many of the local clubs in town. Later Tony formed  his own Doo Wop group which is currently known as "Malt Shoppe Memories". The group performed throughout Florida and opened up for Joey Dee, formally "Joey Dee and the Starlighters" and also for the world famous "Legends of Doo Wop" at Ormond Performing Arts Theatre. Tony was also a performing singer in a local production of the musical "Grease."  Tony then met up with the very talented Debbie Owen, also a resident of Palm Coast, and currently performing as Debbie Owen and Tony T. Their combined talents cover most all venues of music combined with audience interaction.
